Color, flavor, music and movement are fundamental to who I am. A Viet Nam era Army Brat and child of Central American immigrants, I've lived in the U.S. and abroad.
Except for my last 23 years in Michigan, I moved a lot -- wouldn't trade any of it for the world -- saw a lot, learned a lot. All the parts of
my eclectic cultural life and background combine to produce a good eye for balance and a good ear for harmony. They have been useful in a wide variety of artforms, and over the years I've had the pleasure of working on a diverse array of projects with colleagues who likewise enjoy the creative process.
Creative expression, for me, has been a natural extension of self that is statement, commentary, healing, pilgrimage, therapy, exploration and meditation.

Bride and wedding party bearing bouquets at a Belle Isle wedding
This earned Debora Grace (under a different moniker) honorable mention in a contest for Florist Review magazine.

An eye for detail and harmonic balance of color and line, makes all the difference in staging.
This room underwent a makeover, wtih pillows, diaper caddy and blanket lovingly stitched and styled for this nursery (when the crib was eventually converted to bed, it remained crowned by the curtain canopy).
sheer floral folding screen designed by Debora Grace and Justine Pile', specifically to harmonize with the hues and textures of an interior which features a diagonal room layout.
